As much as I loved watching Jonny Flynn torch UConn a few weeks back in the Big East tournament, it looks as though Syracuse's run through March Madness is coming to a close. Blake Griffin and Oklahoma are leading by 22 with 7 minutes and change remaining.
I'll be honest, I wasn't completely sold on Griffin, nor the Sooners, entering this tournament, but he's living up to the advance billing. The guy is a beast. Still, Flynn, only a sophomore, will be the better pro, and he'd better jump while his stock is still high.
Much to the dismay of all of you Orange fans (and alums) out there (looking in your direction, Sheila).

From Sweet to Elite
UConn has begun its beat down of Purdue. I'm a Big Ten guy, but those teams just can't keep up with the elite teams from the better conferences (that goes for football and basketball).
In case anyone's interested, and I'm fairly certain you're not, I'm 40-8 through the first two rounds and tonight I need UConn, Pittsburgh, Memphis and Duke to win tonight to continue my domination over Scott Barrett and the rest of The Daily News office pool.
Tomorrow night, it's got to be Louisville, Oklahoma, Carolina and Kansas.
