Finals

Early games are wrapping up. A quick score check:
Steelers 24, Bengals 13
Browns 27, Rams 20
Lions 16, Bears 7
Colts 31, Panthers 7
Giants 13, Dolphins 10
Titans 13, Raiders 9

How pathetic are the Rams and Dolphins? I don't think any teams will go 0-16 this year, just as there also will be no 16-0 team, but it's hard to imagine either St. Louis or Miami winning a game.

How 'bout those Bills, though?

The player who is going to help lead the Bills to victory today is Chad Pennington. He stinks.

Wow, I don't want to jinx it, but the Bills are in the midst of a HUGE victory over the Jets. 3-0 Buffalo, top of the 9th.

Pennington just tried to fumble it away, but the Jets recovered.
I don't think you can place all the blame on Chad, though. He's not that bad. The team as a whole is bad.

I've seen 6-year-old girls throw the ball further than Chad Pennington. Type in "Jets fan" into youtube, and the results are rather funny. They're a bunch of boneheads.

Scott,
How do you like Maroney now?

Scott Barrett said...

After missing three weeks and getting only six carries last week against Miami, I can only assume he's well rested. That being said, he has only one 100-yard game this year and has yet to score a touchdown.

Brady has more rushing touchdowns than Maroney.

I mistakenly thought the Bills and Jets were an early game. It's entirely possible that such a game could have been going on completely under the radar, so I consider it an honest mistake. 3-3 early second quarter.

The real question becomes, "At what point does Pennington throw his inevitable game-changing interception?"
