Lakers are shooting 27 percent. Kobe is 3-for-14. And 34 first-half points.
Doc Rivers has to be happy. Paul Pierce is playing like a superstar, and you have to think that Ray Allen is going to come around offensively. Defensively, he's been outstanding, although I love what they're doing with their double teams.
Gasol and Bynum haven't exactly been dominant, and Rasheed is playing a hell of a game.
Things are looking good, but 24 minutes is a long, long, long time.

If I were a Celtics fan, I'd be concerned that the Lakers absolutely stunk it up in the first half, and they're only down six.
And I'm not sure if Ray Allen will come around, but I can't imagine Kobe staying this cold for another 24 minutes.
He's not efficient .... you know how he gets. He wants to take a game over, and sometimes it's not there. It's up to Kobe to realize that and get everyone else involved. I'm not sure he's able to do that. Not in Game 7.
Some might be inclined to point out the great defense being played tonight. But the fact is, this is just bad basketball, much like most of the other games in this series.
Fans expected another Lakers-Celtics classic, and it just hasn't played out that way. The Suns and Magic have to be watching the finals and thinking, "We lost to them?"
Dude, this is a Game 7 of the NBA finals. You don't think there might be some nerves?
Maybe if the Magic or Suns ever got to this point, they might react the same.
