20 minutes left in PC's season

Unless the Providence College men's basketball team can get its act together, the Friars' season soon will be over. They're down 33-28 to Miami, at home, in the first round of the NIT. And, like a lot of the people in the stands, they look as though they can't figure out what they're doing here.

Can Geoff McDermott not dunk anymore? This is pretty pathetic, and Miami is shooting (and hitting) from the parking lot.

So much for the "NIT Champions" shirts I was going to buy if PC had won.

Don't call it a comeback ... at least not yet. But PC is showing signs of life.
To answer your question, I think McDermott can only dunk when he's uncontested now, much like his teammates who aren't named Marshon or Weyinmi.

Well, as much as I've loved watching PC the last four years, I think it's safe to say this class has, ultimately, been a disappointment. Too bad, too, because I really thought they had the talent to do something.

We'll always have Pittsburgh.

At least now we can stop caring about the NIT.
Oh, wait. URI had to go and do something stupid and win.
