CBS is dropping the ball ...

While I like Purdue, I have a short attention span. I need to know what's happening in other games, although for about a 15-minute span, there was nothing. UNC and Radford are under way, so I'm OK now, but that was poor planning.

Well, I'm pretty sure we'll have UConn for the duration now. Maybe they'll switch to another game if this turns into a blowout, but not until at least midway through the second half.

I actually like watching Thabeet, even though I think he'll be awful at the next level. I got into an argument/discussion with a guy at a bar the other night on whether or not he'll be good at the next level.

He compared him to Mutumbo, I called him Manute Bol. Granted, I think he's somewhere in the middle, he won't be worth is lottery status.

I think Thabeet is horribly overrated, but he's also infinitely better than he was last year.
It disturbs me that DeJuan Blair from Pitt had to share Big East Player of the Year honors with Thabeet, even though he owned Thabeet in both of their games this season.

As for Thabeet in the NBA, he will be a lottery pick. And if you don't mind getting a serviceable center who will average 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks a game for your lottery pick, then by all means, take Thabeet.

Everyone knows the real POY in the Big East was a little guy I like to call Weyinmi Efejuku. Like PC itself, he was robbed.

If Weyinmi had played all season like he did the last seven games, he might have earned a few votes.

Eh ... He can't play a lick of defense, which makes me think he won't even get drafted.

Think about it, if Gomes went No. 50 overall, do you really think Weyinmi will get drafted?

He's got a shot. Defense is optional in the NBA.
