Memphis is struggling

With 12 minutes left, No. 2 seed Memphis is down two to No. 15 Cal State Northridge.
This is a yearly reminder of why I dislike CBS's coverage of the early rounds of the tournament. Since LSU-Butler has been deemed worthy of broadcast in this region, we won't get a look at the Memphis-Northridge game unless it's still close in the last few minutes. I'd rather watch that one now. LSU-Butler is a good game, too, but when a No. 2 is losing in the first round, that's worth switching coverage.

Good point. What exaclty is "regional" about LSU and Butler? Where is Butler? Washington?

Butler is in Indianapolis, which is about 300 miles closer to us than Memphis.

But we're talking about a difference of 1,300 miles (Memphis) vs. 1,000 (Indianapolis). So neither game could be considered "regional" in the northeast.
